15 minute appointment slots/25 appointments per day/No extended hours/Tier 2 sponsorship available/Minimal visiting.

Owing to a rising list size we are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated salaried GP to join our friendly and supportive practice team. We are a rural, well established, forward thinking, dispensing GMS practice operating over two sites. The two Practice sites are approximately 3 miles apart, both have ample staff car parking on-site and both are within a short distance of the A11, making commutes from Norwich, Wymondham, Attleborough and Thetford convenient.

The Practice has an ECP/ANP Home Visiting Team which performs the vast majority of home visits and we only have one Nursing Home registered with us. Extended hours is provided by the wider practice team, but salaried GPs do not form part of this rota - unless they wish to do so for additional pay. Our current total patient list size is approaching 9,000. We have a long-established and enthusiastic team with a Dispensary at both sites. The clinical team comprises a number of GPs, an Advanced Nurse Practitioner, Emergency Care Practitioner, Practice Nurse Manager, Practice Nurses and HCAs.

In addition, we have clinics provided by a Social Prescriber, Physiotherapists and Mental Health Nurses. As well as support from a practice Pharmacist for medication reviews. The wellbeing of our team is important to us. There is considerable focus on the importance of a healthy work-life balance and all of our clinical team members benefit from excellent support from our highly experienced, professional and friendly Practice Support Team. As part of healthy work-life balance, GPs have 15 minute appointment slots and a maximum of 25 appointments per day, in accordance with current BMA recommendations. The Practice utilises SystmONE, having switched from EMIS in March 2023. There is a full Practice Team meeting every quarter in protected time, as well as clinical team meetings more frequently and we have an engaged Patient Participation Group. For further information, an informal discussion, and/or to arrange a visit please contact the Practice Manager via telephone or email.
