Salaried GP With A View To Partnership – Birchwood Medical Practice

As part of our succession planning for a forthcoming partner retirement, we are looking for a salaried GP (ideally someone who is keen to work towards a partnership position) to join our practice team.
The position would suit anyone interested in working 4 sessions per week (these must be on a Wednesday and a Thursday) but we would be happy to receive applications from those looking for a maximum of six sessions per week.
Birchwood has approximately 12,000 patients and in addition to our six partner doctors and one salaried GP - all of whom operate on 15 minute appointment slots - we have a large range of ARRS staff including physicians associates, a clinical pharmacist, first contact physio and mental health nurses. We also have a skilled practice nursing team and a highly experienced administration team.
Although not essential, the position would be ideal for anyone who wishes to develop their teaching skills as we host both UEA medical students and GP registrars.
