Paston Surgery have a vacancy for a hard working and enthusiastic part-time salaried GP (5 to 7 sessions) to join our friendly and supportive Practice located in beautiful North Norfolk.
We pride ourselves on the support given to all staff, especially to new and newly qualified GPs.
We are a UEA medical student training practice and help develop registrars (STs). There are likely to be future opportunities for GPs with a keen interest to assist in teaching and training.
The salaried GP role will be to support the Partners and other practice staff to manage a busy, profitable practice. We serve around 6700 patients in North Walsham and the surrounding villages and are situated in the centre of the busy town that is surrounded by countryside and a short distance from the coast.
You would be joining an established team headed by GP Partners who are committed to caring for patients, developing the practice and supporting education. The town is set for considerable future housing growth with lots of potential opportunities for us going into the future. We are very keen on staff maintaining a good work/life balance and keep the opportunity to pursue personal clinical interests.
We are a high QOF achieving practice and our CQC overall rating was “GOOD”. The Practice has 12 clinicians plus dispensary and support staff. The entire Practice team is very focused and has flexible and responsive systems in place.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, professional and flexible GP to be fully involved with every type of clinic. Ideally we are looking for a GP to work 5 to 7 sessions per week including Mondays and Wednesdays - we may consider other working patterns. Salary is negotiable and dependent on experience.
