Practice Pharmacist – The Millwood Partnership

The Millwood Partnership is looking for a clinical pharmacist, up to full time, to work with our existing team of two practice pharmacists. The role is supported by a dedicated manager, prescribing clerk and the prescribing lead GP, and will encompass all aspects of the practice pharmacist role. There are opportunities to work flexibly and also from home.
We are looking for an experienced pharmacist with UK registration to work with the practice team to maintain an efficient and safe service to patients. Duties will include but not be limited to medication reviews, prescription processing (queries, high risk medicines, reviews and complex re-authorisation), managing prescribing alerts, audit and supporting prescribing initiatives.
Practice experience and prescribing qualification is preferred but not essential; the practice are keen to support personal development and training.
The Millwood Partnership is a forward thinking practice in Bradwell close to the east coast of Norfolk. Clinically well-staffed we have 9 partners and 2 salaried GPs to cater for a diverse population of around 19,000 patients. The practice is led by the Partners and team of three managers, with a support staff including nurse practitioners, practice nurses, HCAs, pharmacists, paramedic, administration, prescription clerk and receptionists. We are lead practice for our Primary Care Network and are a teaching and training practice to medical students and GP Trainees respectively.
