Bacon Road is a small but dynamic practice in the centre of Norwich on the inner ring road, close to Norwich City Centre.
We are a 2 partner, 2 salaried GP, 2 nurse and multi-skilled admin reception ream, serving 5,000 patients of mixed demographics. We are heavily involved in the future of General Practice in Norwich and will be looking for applicants who are set on 'making a difference' to not only the lives of patients but also the local health economy.
The Practice is currently working towards a merge with another GP practice, enabling improved working at scale, sustainability and the ability to offer a wide range of clinical care.

We strongly believe in nurturing not only our staff and patients but also the next generation of clinicians through our teaching and training programmes. We teach medical students, years 1/2/4, host F2 rotations and also Specialist Registrars spend their final year pre-qualification with us. Our ethos focuses on providing the best possible care for our patients through managing demand using a hybrid consultation system. Patients are usually able to secure routine appointments within 48/72 hours of their request, and clearly all urgent requests are met on the day.
The practice is firmly entrenched within OneNorwich and Norwich CCG Governing Body, ensuring that we are able to actively shape the future of General Practice within Norwich. The opportunity for General Practice to directly influence the local health economy has never been greater and we believe that although we are small, we are forward thinking, enthusiastic and passionate, ensuring that our voice is heard.
The opportunity has presented itself for a 4-8 clinical session salaried GP to join our team.
The successful candidate will be team orientated, committed to delivery continuous improvement of patient care, and strong communication skills.
